November 10 to 15, 2003

Eight teachers from Matera(Italy), Beaupréau (France), Heerlen (Netherlands), Opole (Poland) and an interested guest from St Helens (Great Britain) came to Tübingen to discuss their work in the Comenius project "The concept of time in different cultures and societies" with their German hosts. They began with an evaluation of the objectives, results and school participation in the project during the past academic year. The participants then exchanged information on the ongoing projects of the present academic year in the five schools. The publication of the expected results (homepage) and the improvement of communication among students and teachers of the corresponding schools (e-mail addresses) was suggested.

In order to allow more time for the students' workshops, a rather detailed working programme was already drawn up.

teachers2_thumb.jpg We all enjoyed working with our Comenius partners here. An excursion related to the topic of time took the party to the famous "Museum of Clocks" at Furtwangen. A group of German students from Kepler-Gymnasium who had been working on the project during the past academic year accompanied the guests on the trip.
